InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - Tahun
ini, Forum Petani Kelapa Sawit Berkelanjutan Indonesia (FORTASBI) Kembali
menyelenggarakan “Malam Apresiasi” untuk para pembeli yang telah mendukung
petani swadaya bersertifikat RSPO di Indonesia. Malam Apresiasi ini adalah kali
kedua, setelah sebelumnya diselenggarakan di Bangkok pada Bulan November 2019
lalu. Pelaksanaan Malam Apresiasi kali ini lebih spesial,karena dilakukan
secara virtual ditengah pandemi Covid-19.
Kali ini, terdapat 11 pembeli yang menerima apresiasi lansung dari
petani swadaya bersertifikat Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), para
pembeli tersebut adalah Pepsico, Unilever, ACT, The Body Shop, Nestle,
Felleksjoopet, Estee Lauder, Johnson and Johnson, Bayer AG, Givaudan dan The
Hershey. Tahun ini ada tambahan 5 pembeli baru yaitu The Body Shop, Estee
Lauder, Givaudan, Nestle dan The Hershey.

Narno, pihaknya menyelenggarakan Malam Apreasiasi dipersembahkan untuk pembeli
kredit RSPO milik petani swadaya Indonesia. karena dengan dukungan mereka,
petani swadaya dapat memperluas dampak sertifikasi RSPO kepada masyarakat luas.
“Ada anggota kami yang mengembangkan dukungan pembelian kredit
RSPO untuk perlindungan lingkungan, Kesehatan, Pendidikan dan bahkan ada yang
menggunakan dana tersebut untuk mengatasi kesulitan ekonomi petani di masa
pandemi Covid-19. Ungkap,” katanya dalam keterangan tertulis diterima InfoSAWIT,
belum lama ini.
Dukungan pembeli pada petani swadaya yang bersertifikat RSPO
melalui pembelian kredit RSPO adalah salah satu alternatif yang dapat dipilih
saat ini, karena secara lansung mendukung petani swadaya untuk terus
mengimplementasikan standar minyak sawit berkelanjutan di tingkat tapak.
Tahun 2021, FORTASBI mencatat, jumlah dukungan pembeli untuk
sekitar 7.500 petani swadaya bersertifikat RSPO adalah mencapai US$ 1,5 juta
atau setara dengan Rp 20 Milyar (nilai tukar Rp 14.000/U$).
Malam apresiasi dihadiri oleh 6 pembeli yaitu Unilever, Pepsico, Fellekjoopet, ACT Commodities, Nestle dan The Body Shop. 5 Pembeli lainnya berhalangan hadir. Dalam Diskusi dan Talkshow yang difaslitasi oleh Gita Syahrani, Kelapa Sekretariat LTKL (Lingkar Temu Kabupaten Lestari) ini, semua pembeli menyatakan komitmennya untuk terus mendukung petani swadaya dengan cara membeli kredit RSPO mereka, sebagai bentuk kolaborasi untuk mendorong transformasi minyak sawit berkelanjutan.
